No Country For Old Men Sweeps Online Film Critics Society Awards
NEW YORK, January 9, 2008 – “No Country For Old Men” was the major winner in the 11th Annual Online Film Critics Society Awards, sweeping six categories including Best Picture. The awards were voted by the Online Film Critics Society (OFCS), the international professional association of Internet-based cinema journalists.
Through “No Country For Old Men,” Joel & Ethan Coen won three separate categories: Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Editing. The film also earned awards for Javier Bardem as Best Supporting Actor and Roger Deakins for Best Cinematography.
